Testimonial

Dear Greg and Anthony,

I don't know where to begin to thank you for the most wonderful experience with one of the most painful things I have ever had to do.

Greg, your patience and professionalism with my endless questions and concerns and ultimate support in the very last stages a few weeks ago will remain with me forever warm in my heart.

Anthony, your unwavering acceptance of every major and minor change in how we wanted to honor our parents through the headstone without ever flinching or making me feel like an annoyance is so deeply appreciated and too will remain as a warm memory in my heart.

To the two of you along with the entire Wellwood Family let me share this.

In my religion our parents remain living through their soul and through the legacy of their influence of lessons taught and behaviors instilled on their children. The more we behave like them and carry on the good things they did, is the highest honor I as a daughter can bestow on them.

I never knew your father. But I know for sure who he was, what he valued, the lessons he taught and what he believed in deeply, simply by walking into your showroom and interacting with everyone there. I know this by meeting the two of you. What he built, what he taught you is a kindness to every grieving family. What he built is a place of trust where families can rely on, from beginning to end, that their loved one's memory will be honored with respect and honest good work. What a legacy he left for you and what an incredible honor you do for him.

I wish the "Wellwood Family" only the best, with generations to continue on with the legacy of lessons and actions left for you by your father.

Thank you for the two most beautiful headstones for our parents, and for every conversation and support you provided.

Feel free to print this and post anywhere that people can see how wonderful working with you has been.

Warmly,

- Marian Sherron

Good Afternoon Lester,

I would like to thank you and Wellwood Memorials on the amazin work that was completed for my dad’s monument.

When we met in November I knew that this was the professional company that would complete the job PERFECT! I have such a terrifying experience with a previous company and want to thank everyone that was involved in the making of the monument.

My family and I are extremely satisfied and would highly recommend you to all. Thank you again for making this process go so smooth during this very difficult time in the loss of my dad.

Best Regards,

- Josephine Scarcella

The Scarcella Family

Dear Greg and Anthony,

I want to thank both of you and all your associates at Wellwood Memorials for everything you have done that allowed me to capture, display and share with other pet lovers the essence of and relationship with my little buddy and special friend, Frisky.

Your dedication to working with me in developing and fulfilling my vision for Frisky’s entire monument was exceptional. Beginning with the initial consultation on my draft design sketch, through the editing process of several epitaph iterations, the monument structure, size and placement of the epitaph, Frisky’s characteristics and our daily routines, his porcelain picture portraits and etchings and the porcelain picture Rainbow Bridge poem, you consistently demonstrated your professionalism, patience and compassion. Your guidance and responsiveness to the many facets of the overall design that I desired, as well as Pat’s artistic talent, Lester’s craftsmanship and Mike’s installation expertise and careful placement were all very much appreciated. Lisa, Claire, Mary and Claudia were also always there to answer my calls and contributed to help me through this entire process.

I was also very lucky to have had the help of Mike LoBianco, graphic designer and manager at FastSigns in Wantagh, who crafted Frisky’s picture sign for temporary placement at Bideawee Memorial Park, as well as his work on my special Rainbow Bridge poem design, the “Cat in the Heart” figure, and the full size two dimensional colorized rendering of the final monument design.

I’m also grateful to Maureen, Helene, George and the other people at Bideawee, for all their support from the start and allowing me to temporarily place Frisky’s picture sign until the monument was finished.

Finally, I know your business is not an easy one, considering the circumstances under which your services are provided. It is, however, most meaningful to the people and families you serve, and should be very gratifying to you, as you and your entire team actually build and provide the everlasting bridge from memories of to eternity for our loved ones.

We only live on if we’re remembered. Frisky gave us so much fun and love to remember him forever.

On behalf of the entire Rao family, and especially Frisky, I want to express to all of you my sincerest thanks once again.

Sincerely,

- Phil Rao
